From the film -
"You know that little voice in your head? Your inner critic. Constantly nagging, putting you down, wishing you were different, better, smarter, stronger - wishing you were anyone but who you are. We are our own worst enemies and harshest critics. We need to stop with the judgement, and instead learn to love every aspect of our being.
It is one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves, learning how to love ourselves. And what we will learn is that the amount of love, kindness and patience that we have for others is directly proportional to how much love, patience and kindness we have for ourselves… because we cannot give others what we ourselves do not have. We need a revolution - and the revolution needs to start from our own self worth."
The journey towards self acceptance is filled with many twists and turns, a rough road littered with pot holes and unexpected adventures of all kinds. But if you can persist traveling down that road, a little farther everyday, what you will find is that you become the destination of a journey that is never ending yet well worth traveling.
Until next time ...
